Things Jack Ciattarelli Supports: Gutting SNAP for Children, Seniors, and Disabled New Jerseyans
Ciattarelli: “Shame on any Republican across the country that doesn’t support this”
TRENTON, NJ – Jack Ciattarelli agrees with Trump on everything.
Even making it much harder for 800,000 vulnerable New Jerseyans to afford groceries, “nearly half of whom are children, one in three are disabled and 20% are more than 60 years old.”
According to NJ.com, “The burden on county governments, which administer SNAP, will be immense” thanks to Trump’s price hike bill.
One way it’s a price hike? ‘There’s no way county governments can make up the difference without increasing property taxes,’” in the words of one expert.
That’s Jack Ciattarelli. He’d let seniors, families, and disabled New Jerseyans be targeted – all while property taxes go up – to keep Donald Trump happy.
“Jack Ciattarelli spent months pushing for a bill that will make it harder for New Jersey families to afford groceries and put pressure on local communities' budgets. Right now costs are too high – no thanks to the reckless tariff policy Jack Ciattarelli supports – but he chooses Donald Trump over New Jersey every time, no matter the consequences,” said New Jersey Democratic State Committee spokesperson Ryan Radulovacki.
