EARLY VOTE NUMBERS SHOW DEMOCRATS ACROSS NEW JERSEY ARE FIRED UP
WEST ORANGE, NJ — Early Voting began on Saturday, and the sheer number of Democrats turning out has surpassed expectations, to say the very least. More than 800,000 ballots have already been cast, demonstrating significant enthusiasm before Election Day, outpacing 2025 early vote turnout, with a more than 2-1 advantage over the NJGOP.
“We won’t let up on the gas at all. We’re going to keep having conversations with New Jerseyans about the issues they’re facing, and continue to earn their support,” said Chairman LeRoy J. Jones, Jr. “The sheer number of Democrats turning out is a sign that those conversations are making a difference, that New Jersey is fed up with Trump, and that voters are ready to send Tom Kean Jr., Chris Smith, and Jeff Van Drew packing.”
The Press is Taking Note:
New Jersey Monitor: “New Jersey Democrats are voting in droves ahead of Election Day, outpacing turnout in last year’s gubernatorial race in all but two counties as the number of Republicans casting mail ballots or early machine votes declines statewide.”
Politico: “...the numbers coming out of New Jersey are striking, and I think Republicans may be dreading next Tuesday.”
New Jersey Globe: “Democrats have built a commanding advantage in New Jersey’s early voting, with Republican turnout dropping sharply from last year and Democrats casting nearly twice as many in-person ballots as Republicans during the first three days.”
New Jersey is fired up, and fed up with the chaos and corruption in Washington. Democrats are engaged, talking about the issues that matter to New Jersey families, and making sure every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate in our elections.
New Jersey Democrats won't take anything for granted and will keep working until the final ballots are counted.
