Jack Ciattarelli Voted Against Same-Sex Marriage, Would Stack NJ’s Supreme Court with “Ultra-Conservatives"

TRENTON, NJ – As the Supreme Court weighs “whether to take up a case that explicitly asks them to overturn” the right to same-sex marriage in the United States, remember that Jack Ciattarelli voted against legalizing same-sex marriage in New Jersey, and has said over and over again that he wants to stack New Jersey’s Supreme Court with MAGA judges.

  • After Jack voted no on legalizing same-sex marriage in New Jersey, the state Supreme Court legalized it.

  • …but Jack wants to stack that court with MAGA judges:

  • Insider NJ reports he has “pledged to appoint not merely conservatives to the state Supreme Court, but ‘ultra-conservatives.’”

“Donald Trump’s Supreme Court is ready to take aim at the most important rights and freedoms we have – including the right to marry the person you love – but Jack Ciattarelli, who voted against same-sex marriage himself, thinks Trump stacking the court is his ‘greatest legacy.’ There’s a clear contrast in this race: Jack would put Donald Trump and his agenda before the people of New Jersey every single time, and Mikie Sherrill will stand up for our freedoms when they’re under attack,” said New Jersey Democratic State Committee spokesperson Ryan Radulovacki.
