Ciattarelli Would Name “Ultra-Conservatives” to NJ's Supreme Court, Mimic “Trump’s Greatest Legacy”
TRENTON, NJ – In just the last two days, Donald Trump’s right-wing Supreme Court has repeatedly taken aim at fundamental rights and freedoms and made it easier for Republicans to push their extreme and harmful agenda.
With the rule of law and the rights of millions of Americans on the line, Jack Ciattarelli wants to copy Trump’s playbook:
NJ Insider: Ciattarelli has “pledged to appoint not merely conservatives to the state Supreme Court, but ‘ultra-conservatives.’”
Ciattarelli on WOND Radio: “I'm also going to be appointing very conservative superior court judges.”
“Three years ago a right-wing Supreme Court engineered by Donald Trump ripped away abortion rights from women across the country. Jack Ciattarelli wants to copy Trump’s playbook here at home, appointing ‘ultra-conservative’ justices to make MAGA the law of the land in New Jersey – what he calls ‘Trump’s greatest legacy’ would be an extremist disaster for the Garden State,” said New Jersey Democratic State Committee spokesperson Ryan Radulovacki.
