REBECCA BENNETT SHOWS LEADERSHIP NJ-07 HAS BEEN MISSING UNDER TOM KEAN JR

SOMERVILLE, NJ — Rebecca Bennett challenged Tom Kean Jr. to six debates in six different counties across the district. Six opportunities to show up, answer questions, defend his record, and explain to the people he supposedly represents why he deserves their vote. He declined, only agreeing to a single debate.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Bennett took her Deckplate Leadership tour directly to people in all corners of NJ-07. She met with voters in Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties. 

Rebecca listens to residents, answers questions, and makes an effort to understand the issues people are facing every day. Her tour was a reminder of what actual representation is supposed to look like: being accessible and listening to constituents — the opposite of Tom Kean Jr.’s “leadership.”

Tom Kean Jr. has represented NJ-07 since 2023. In that time, he has never held a town hall, has infamously dodged questions from the press, and has let down his constituents. And in five days, the voters of NJ-07 will unseat him.
