Coalition Member,

We wanted to reach out again to thank everyone who came out to one of our many events in June and to make sure you know what we have coming up in July!

As part of the ongoing project to re-launch our caucuses, we are very excited to be re-introducing our new Veterans Caucus this month. It will be focused on listening to and fighting for the vibrant Veteran community in New Jersey.

Below is an introduction video from Rep. Mikie Sherrill that fully encompasses how important it is for us to have a dedicated Veterans Caucus:

Past Events in June:

On June 7th, the Hunterdon County Young Democrats elected their new leadership for the 2022-2023 school year. NJDSC Youth Coordinator, Keely Magee, attended the meeting. She is a former VP of the Hunterdon Co. Young Dems.

On June 8, the NJDSC Black Caucus hosted their first meeting, via Zoom, since the pandemic began. Chairman Jones and Assemblyman Benji Wimberly attended. Caucus Chair Missy Balmir introduced the new Vice Chair Eash Haughton.

NJ Young Dems President, Emerging Caucus Chair Fatima Heyward and NJDSC LGBTQ+ Caucus Chair Lauren Albrecht also came out to support the event!
