  • Rebuilding New Jersey’s Journalism Ecosystem Local journalism is essential to a healthy democracy. However, across NJ, shrinking newsrooms and widening information gaps limit communities’ access to trustworthy, locally relevant reporting. Bringing together leaders from journalism, education, government, and the nonprofit sector, this panel will examine the state of local news in New Jersey.

  • Mobilize Training Workshop Ready to level up your volunteer recruitment?
Join us for a Mobilize training covering everything from setup basics to best practices, for both campaigns and volunteers. You'll leave with the tools and knowledge to plug Mobilize directly into your broader organizing goals.

  • Live VAN Training A live, hands-on VAN training designed to sharpen your skills and help you get more out of one of the Democratic Party’s most important organizing tools. We’ll walk through practical VAN functions, share best practices, highlight recent updates, and answer your questions in real time.

  • Why Labor is so Important to Democrats This panel will explore the relationship between labor and the Democratic Party, the role unions play in organizing and civic engagement, and the policy priorities that affect workers across the state. Panelists will also discuss how that relationship is evolving

  • Campaign 101: will break down the essential building blocks of a New Jersey campaign, including organizing, voter contact, fundraising, communications, data, and Election Day operations. Hear from experienced Democratic campaign professionals about what it takes to turn a campaign plan into action and build the organization needed to compete.

  • The Future of Democratic Campaigns will explore the trends, tools, and strategies shaping how Democratic campaigns will organize, communicate, fundraise, and reach voters in the years ahead. Panelists will discuss lessons from recent elections and the innovations campaigns are testing as they prepare for the next generation of political organizing.

  • Influencing for a Cause brings together content creators who cover New Jersey politics across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The discussion will explore how digital creators are changing the way New Jerseyans learn about and engage with politics, the impact influencers can have on campaigns, and the opportunities and challenges of covering political news in a fast-moving social media environment. Panelists will share their experiences building audiences, explaining complex issues, engaging with viewers, and navigating questions of accuracy, credibility, and authenticity in political content.

LC,  affordability, transportation access, Social Security, Medicare, veterans benefits, and access to essential services. - Hosted by Older Adult Caucus, Veterans Caucus, Disability Caucus

This session will guide you through using your platforms to educate, organize, connect, and drive a narrative - all while maintaining your essential, authentic voice.

  • Voter Protection will provide an introduction to the essential tools, strategies, and best practices for protecting every eligible voter’s right to cast a ballot and have it counted. Participants will learn how voter protection teams prepare for Vote by Mail, EVIP and  Election Day, identify and respond to common voting issues, and help voters navigate the process.

  • Targeted Voter Registration at Scale in New Jersey The highest-leverage investment available today is targeted voter registration at scale, executed strategically at the county level. Drawing on Civitech's data across states, we'll discuss the time-effective and cost-effective tactics that work to register tens of thousands of Democrats and turn them out to vote in a single year.

  • Good Government & Affordability will explore approaches to lowering costs, improving government efficiency, strengthening public services, and addressing the economic pressures facing working families. Panelists will discuss how effective governing and practical policy solutions can help make New Jersey a more affordable place to live, work, raise a family, and retire.

  • Why A Base Field Program is So Important in NJ will explore the importance of year-round organizing, voter registration, education, and engagement that continues long after Election Day. Panelists will discuss how sustained investment in communities can strengthen participation, build lasting connections, and create the infrastructure Democratic campaigns rely on each election cycle.
