New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chairman John Currie offered condolences to the Biden family after hearing the news that the Vice President’s son, Beau Biden, passed away last evening.

(Trenton) — New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chairman John Currie released the following statement of condolence after hearing the news that Beau Biden had passed away:

“I am stricken by the news that Vice President Biden’s son Beau — a dedicated public servant in his own right — has succumbed to brain cancer. As Attorney General in neighboring Delaware for eight years, and a military veteran, Beau exemplified his father’s proud tradition of service. His contributions to his state and the country will endure despite the fact that he left us all too soon. I know that all New Jersey Democrats join me in sharing heartfelt condolences with the entire Biden family during their time of grief.”
