“Racing to Prove Their MAGA Bona Fides”: Six Messy Weeks to Go for Republicans in #NJGov
TRENTON, NJ: A “fake Republican” who “turned his back on President Trump.”
After slamming “China-loving Jack” for investing in CCP-tied companies owning U.S. farmland, that’s what Bill Spadea called Jack Ciattarelli in an ad hitting broadcast TV for the first time this week.
But “Bill’s initials are B.S. for a reason,” in Ciattarelli’s words – and after losing the governor’s race twice already, in a desperate bid to consolidate support from the hard-right, Ciattarelli “now says he is full-blown MAGA.”
“As the NJ GOP’s gubernatorial field competes for the MAGA base, one thing is clear: Whoever emerges as the Republican nominee for governor will have had to turn members of their own party against them and take on extreme positions out of step with regular people in New Jersey,” said New Jersey Democratic State Committee spokesperson Ryan Radulovacki.
