TYPICAL: REP. GARRETT ONLY DELEGATION MEMBER TO OPPOSE BIPARTISAN HIGHWAY FUNDING BILL

Despite data showing 35% of all bridges in New Jersey are “structurally deficient” or “functionally obsolete,” Congressman Scott Garrett was the only member of the state congressional delegation to oppose a bipartisan, multi-year funding solution for repairing bridges, highways and roads. Chairman Currie said, next November, voters will remember that Garrett voted against their safety by opposing a commonsense measure to fill potholes and repair bridges.
