Janice Kovach

For US Congress - District 7


Janice Kovach is the Democratic nominee in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District because she wants to get things done for New Jersey and believes that she can make a difference in Washington, DC. A qualified, experienced elected official with a track record of standing up for what is right, Kovach has earned bipartisan respect as Mayor of the Town of Clinton. and before that as a Council Member. Additionally, she has served as the Director of the New Jersey Division on Women, a position appointed by the Governor.

Kovach is a business consultant with expertise in business operations and management. Previously, she was a Director with Prudential, in charge of a 24/7 call center and a Marketing Project Management Group. She also has held management positions with Fleet and NatWest Banks. Kovach earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State College.

As a volunteer, she served as a Trustee of the Red Mill Museum Village and as President and Trustee of the CPS Partners in Education Foundation. Additionally, she has been an appointee to the Highlands Water Protection and Planning Council. Janice is a Leadership NJ Fellow (Class of 2009). Her other Community involvement includes board memberships with groups such as the Girl Scouts Heart of NJ, United Way Women’s Leadership Council, and the Women’s Heart Foundation.

Janice Kovach lives in Clinton, NJ with her husband, Stephen, and their three children.
