Christie Still Has No Plan to Spur Middle Class Jobs
(Trenton)- This morning, Governor Christie’s administration released New Jersey’s unemployment numbers for March 2013. With the March 2013 rate at 9%, this marks 46 straight months with unemployment at or above 9%.
Assemblyman John Wisniewski, Chairman of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, released the following statement:
“There are still far too many New Jerseyans who desperately want to work and cannot find a job. Even among those who have rejoined the workforce, too many have had to settle for lower wages and struggle to make ends meet.
After more than three years in office, Governor Christie still hasn’t proposed any plan to sustain and grow middle class jobs. New Jersey needs good jobs to grow our economy.
New Jersey families deserve a governor whose main focus is getting people back to work and growing the middle class. Governor Christie’s record makes it clear that he is not that governor.”
